The Maine Center is a private, not-for-profit organization which provides clinic services (individual, marital, family, and group counseling, psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations, psychological testing and assessment services), case coordination, adult day treatment (daytime programs for adults in need of daily structure and group activities), and assisted residential services (scattered site apartments managed by the agency for single adults in need of skills training and support in independent living).

Any resident of Maine Township seeking affordable outpatient counseling and mental health services is eligible. The Maine Center serves Park Ridge, Des Plaines, and parts of Niles, Morton Grove, Glenview and Rosemont.
