Laramie CO. Senior Services provides the following services for the elderly in our community:

1. Congregate meals program
   The Senior center provides a hot noon meal seven days a week, carry-out and special diet meals are also available. The suggested donation for seniors 60 and over is $2.50.
   
   
2. Monthly Newsletter
   The newslettercontains health and nutrition info. monthly menu, & the schedule of events. Subscription price is $3.00 per year.
   
   
3. Health screenings
   Clinics are offered to provide wellness checks in areas such as blood pressure, weight, blood sugar levels and anemia. Health Fair screening and Physical Assessments are conducted when funding is available.
   
   
4. Exercise program
   We provide a certified aerobics instructor 3days a week two sessions a day for those interested. We also provide an exercise room and a therapy spa.
   
   
5. Socialization
   Activities such as teas, dinners, trips,dances and picnics are offered freqqently to provide community togetherness and to provide a social outlet to those interested.
   
   
6. Family Caregiver program
   Assist caregivers by providing resource information, referral, assessment, training, support, respite and assistance to family members caring for functionally dependant or cognitivly impaired older adults.
   
   
7. We also hold AA meetings every Monday and are offering a support group for caregivers.
