The Barrington Area Council on Aging, Inc. (BACOA) is a private, not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life for older adults in the Barrington area by serving as a clearinghouse of information on aging services, providing service coordination, identifying service gaps and needs and advocating to meet those needs. They coordinate Seniors lunch programs Monday, Tuesday and Friday at Langendorf park. Newsletter published 6 times a year. Information and referral, outreach, home visits to assess needs.
